EIN Network Participates in Second Simulation of Election Day Procedures

The EIN Network for Election Monitoring and Democracy, represented by Mr. Alaa, took part in the second simulation of Election Day procedures held on Thursday, August 21. The simulation covered all aspects of the electoral process, including both special and general voting, in addition to testing technical aspects and identifying potential challenges that voters may face on Election Day.

During its participation, EIN provided key observations regarding the performance of the voting devices, in the presence of representatives from political parties and security forces, to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the special voting process.

This participation comes as part of AIN’s long-term monitoring efforts and reaffirms the importance of election observation as a cornerstone of the democratic process. It is worth noting that the EIN Network for Election Monitoring and Democracy is a member of the Election Monitoring Networks Coalition, alongside Shams and Tammuz networks, which together constitute the primary electoral monitoring body in Iraq.
