As part of the "Democracy and Transparency: Enabling Civic Participation and Media Freedom" project, funded by the European Union in partnership with the Norwegian People's Aid (NPA), Anbar - Monday, June 23, 2025,Ein Network organizes an electoral awareness forum for media professionals and journalists in Anbar. Within the framework of the "Democracy and Transparency" project, and with support from the European Union, the Ain Network for Election and Democracy Monitoring organized an awareness forum for media professionals and journalists in Anbar Governorate, in partnership with the Shams and Tamuz networks, and in coordination with the Independent High Electoral Commission/Anbar Office. The forum included a detailed presentation on the mechanisms for updating voter biometric data and the procedures for issuing electoral cards. Representatives of the Commission also explained the approved awareness plan, voting mechanisms, and ways to ensure free and fair participation in the elections. The forum featured insightful contributions and discussions from attendees, addressing the challenges facing media professionals in rural areas and the need to communicate election messages in simple, inclusive language to all segments of society. The discussion also emphasized the importance of unifying media discourse in support of electoral participation.
