"EIN", "Tammuz", and "Shams" Networks Hold Coordination Meeting with the Electoral Commission in Dhi Qar

Representatives of the election monitoring networks “EIN,” “Tammuz,” and “Shams” held a coordination meeting with the Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) office in Dhi Qar Governorate, in the presence of the Office Director and the Director of Media and Public Communication.

The meeting came as part of joint preparations to implement awareness and monitoring activities under the "Democracy and Transparency: Empowering Civic Engagement and Media Freedom" project. During the meeting, the networks’ goals and upcoming plans were presented, in addition to introducing the roles of local teams that will be formed at the governorate level.

IHEC officials expressed their full readiness to cooperate and coordinate with the networks throughout all stages of the electoral process, emphasizing the importance of partnership with civil society organizations to enhance transparency and ensure the integrity of the upcoming elections.
