EIN Network Holds Its First Meeting in Al-Muthanna to Enhance Cooperation with the Electoral Commission

Al-Muthanna – Monday, April 28, 2025

EIN Network for Election Monitoring and Democracy held its first meeting in Al-Muthanna province with the Director of the Al-Muthanna Electoral Commission Office, Mr. Kadhim Sabbar. The meeting aimed to introduce the network and discuss the activities planned for the upcoming period.

The meeting, which was also attended by representatives from Shams and Tammuz networks, included discussions on the formation of the local monitoring team in the province, as well as mechanisms for cooperation and partnership between civil society organizations and the Electoral Commission throughout the upcoming electoral process.

For his part, the Director of the Electoral Commission Office expressed the Commission’s full readiness to cooperate and coordinate with EIN  Network and its partner networks, commending the efforts of civil society organizations in supporting the work of the Commission and promoting electoral transparency and integrity.
